Our Mission
The DTU ACM Student Chapter, established in 2025, is dedicated to advancing the application of computing within and beyond the horizons of Delhi Technological University. Driven by a firm desire to bridge the gap between theoretical academics and practical industry demands, the Chapter is committed to cultivating the next generation of technical leaders and providing an inclusive platform where students can build a better tomorrow.
Impacting 5000+ students through workshops, hackathons, and technical events across AI/ML, Cybersecurity, and Technical Aptitude.
Core Focus Areas
Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
Exploration into deep learning, computer vision and data-driven problem-solving to equip students with the skills needed at the forefront of modern computing.
Cybersecurity
Digital safety and defense by promoting awareness, ethical hacking practices, and a robust understanding of network security.
Technical Aptitude
Cutting-edge software engineering practices, algorithmic thinking, and system architecture to build an unshakable foundation in core computer science principles.
PAST EVENTS & WORKSHOPS
Brainwave 2.0
A monumental 36-hour AI and tech-driven hackathon at Raj Soin Hall. 4,500+ registrations, 650+ on-ground participants across Hardware, Software, UI/UX, MLH, and GameJam tracks. Sponsored by AIREV, SCAILE, GitHub, and Major League Hacking.
Promptify
CSEdWeek prompt engineering competition. Students harnessed generative AI by writing creative text prompts to produce target images. 250 registrations, 100 selected participants. Prize pool of 1.5K + Gemini API keys.
AI/ML Workshop
Technical workshop in collaboration with AIMS-DTU covering the complete ML lifecycle — from data preprocessing to building and evaluating models. 250 attendees across 3 phases: Foundations, Hands-On Model Building, and Beyond the Basics.
Cybersecurity Workshop
Introduction to reverse engineering, covering binaries, disassemblers/decompilers, malware analysis, game hacking, and anti-cheat systems. Designed to make low-level security concepts accessible to beginners.
AI Hack Days
A series of mini hackathons throughout the semester, bringing together students for quick-fire AI and coding challenges. Focused on rapid prototyping, creative problem-solving, and collaborative learning.
